Kerber, yet to be tested on her debut at Devonshire Park, enthused:
I came here one week ago, and the plan was to have lots of matches before Wimbledon.
“So it feels very good to reach the final because it’s my first time here – and it’s a big thing for me.
“For sure Tamira (Paszek) will try to win the final also, but I will be out there having fun before Wimbledon.”
